As artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude become more common, many families are turning to them for quick answers to important elder law questions.While these AI platforms can be helpful for general education, they can also create confusion and risk when relied on for legal guidance.Elder law is highly complex and varies by stateMedicaid eligibility rules, asset protection strategies, and estate planning laws are not one size fits all.An AI platform may provide an answer that sounds accurate, but it may be outdated, overly simplified, or based on another states laws.
