I often get questions that Ive answered many times, but the backstories and the perspectives are all different.
Rarely do I get a question that completely startles me, but it does happen, and I welcome those.If you could dispel one false assumption about sex after 50 what would it be? Sex is not over when we encounter challenges such as medical issues, relationship difficulties, body parts that dont work the way they used to.With information, exploration, and self-acceptance a sense of humor helps, too! we can discover solutions and workarounds that lead to renewed sexual pleasure and intimacy.Tell us about the re-release of your book, Naked at Our Age: Talking Out Loud about Senior Sex! The first edition came out in 2011, winning two prestigious awards in 2012: Outstanding Self-Help Book from the American Society of Journalists and Authors and Book Award from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.Since then, it continues to receive praise from the media as well as readers.In January 2026, on the books fifteenth anniversary, Naked at Our Age came out in a new edition.It still has the content that made the original a classic, with the addition of two new chapters of updates and new expert tips.
